Wy’east UU Board Minutes, Friday, 05/08/2026 via Zoom

 

Attendance: Debra T, Larry B, Willowsage D, Andy L, Rev. LeslieB-M

 

Membership Report:

Reviewed and accepted.

 

Marketing Report: 

Andy reviewed the accessibility section to include on the updated WEB site.

He plans to discuss this with Linda Mac.

 

Minister’s Report:

Rev Leslie discussed her report to add to the annual report. She will send it to the board for input.

 

Social Justice Report: The board approved the 2026-27 theme “Finding your Voice”

The members will cast their vote at the annual meeting by a show of hands. 

 

Budget: 

Approved by the Board. Members will cast their vote at the annual meeting by a show of hands.

 

Candidates for 2026-27 Board: 

Kendra Staley and Eileen Watters: approved by the Board. Votes by members at the annual meeting will be by paper ballot, by proxy, and over Zoom

 

Candidates for Nominating Committee:

Lana Quackenbush and Diane Arnold: Approved by the board. Votes by members at the annual meeting by paper ballot, by proxy and on Zoom.

 

Proposed By law change: Love at the Center added. Board approved. Members  will cast their vote at the annual meeting by show of hands.

 

Willow Sage D: Stated that this may be her last Board meeting. She thanked the Board for their understanding and the Board members thanked her for her service.
