Wy’east UU Board Meeting Minutes March 13, 2026

Attendance: 

Debra T, Andy L, Willow Sage D, Larry B, Linda B, Linda M 

 

Worship and Marketing Report: 

Linda M presented a video tour of the proposed new WEB Site 

More photos will be included . a photo of Mt. Hood from the east side of Portland will be included. 

She will be working with the RE committee to explore new ways to present information. Linda M will check with Naomi on how to include information for the vision impaired. A small group of members and friends will be asked to edit the final production of the WEB Site Treasurer's 

 

Report: 

Larry highlighted that Wy’east UU is in a consistently strong financial position. There are a significant number of outstanding checks ($8000) . Larry transferred money from the money market to the checking account to cover these. 

Membership Report: Accepted 

Minister Report: No Report 

Accessibility Report 

Willow suggested that those on Zoom be transferred to the breakout room as soon as the service ended. The lagtime sounds noisy . Linda M plans to discuss this with Eddie. 

Bylaws: The committee met and the changes will be voted on at the May annual meeting 

Nomination Committee: 

Debra will ask Diane Hogan and Diane Ingle to continue on the nomination committee until June 2026. Ruth J will continue for one more year. 

Two candidates are needed for the nomination committee and 2 board candidates are needed to replace Debra (served the 2 years) and Willow ( who requested to resign due health issues). 

Canvass: Bruce, Kendra, and Larry are working on this. The suggested goal is to complete the canvass by the first week in April to allow time to work on the budget to present at the May meeting 

Dates: Budget review to the congregation May 3, 2026 

Annual Congregational meeting: May 17, 2026
